Time and place

Date:  18 June 2014
Time:  14:00 - 15:30
Place:  Messukeskus (Room 209), Helsinki (Finland)

Pierpaolo Tona - ERTICO - ITS Europe (Project Manager) (Belgium)

Carlo Van de Weijer - TomTom (Netherlands)

Mika Kulmala - City of Tampere (Finland)

Despite the current availability of products in the market and the clear demand of services by users, the penetration of Cooperative ITS services is insufficient and not yet interoperable across Europe. This session will look into current implementation initiatives and mass-deployment perspectives from the point of view of users and public authorities, considering also the latest inputs from hardware and service providers. Expert speakers will present actual examples to definitively achieve viable and economically sustainable solutions towards the objective “C-ITS available to all citizens”.
