Press invitation "Compass4D project in Helmond: The real deployment of ITS services"

The Compass4D Consortium is pleased to invite members of the press to a full day dedicated to the European deployment project Compass4D and to a demonstration of its services in the city of Helmond. The day will be structured into three slots: an interactive event, a showcase lunch and a press conference with the Mayor of Helmond, a representative of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, Members of the European Parliament and industry executives.

I slot 9:30 - 15:00 - Interactive workshop The audience, representing different types of stakeholders, will join a panel of high level speakers to discuss the next necessary steps and responsibilities towards ITS deployment. The list of panellists includes MEP Lambert van Nistelrooij, Member of the Dutch Parliament, Barbara Visser , Hermann Meyer (ERTICO), Klaas Rozema (Imtech) and Jacob Bangsgaard (FIA). II slot 12:15 - 13:30 - Lunch and live demonstrations During lunch, the Compass4D consortium will offer a showcase, where the audience will experience live demonstrations of the Cooperative ITS services.

III slot 13:30 - 14:00 - Press conference In parallel with the live demo, Compass4D will host a press conference with: • Elly Blanksma-van den Heuvel, Mayor of Helmond • Pierpaolo Tona, Compass4D coordinator - ERTICO - ITS Europe • Lambert van Nistelrooij, Member of the European Parliament • Klaas Rozema, Chief Technology Officer - Imtech • Caspar de Jonge, Programme Manager ITS - Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment

After the press conference, interested members of the press will have the opportunity to interview the speakers and other participants in the workshop.
